Q: What if I am not sure if I am ready to make an appointment?
Please feel free to reach out and schedule a complimentary 15-minute consult to discuss what you are looking for, and I would be happy to explain my approach and process.
Q: What can I expect in the first session?
Before you get to session, I ask that you are able to review and fill out forms I send ahead of time so that I am ready to jump in on the first session! We will review limits of confidentiality and get to know you and your family. By the end, we should have an idea of goals and what you would like to achieve during therapy. I look forward to getting started on your journey!
Q: Do you take insurance?
At this time I am not taking insurance, I am however happy to provide you with an invoice for reimbursement or help with your Out Of Network coverage. If you would like to meet but are unsure of my fees, please reach out for a 15-minute consult to discuss treatment.
Q: Will you see me in an office setting?
At this time I am only accepting appointments for telehealth or virtual video visits. I have found that video sessions improve engagement, encourage family participation, removes the barriers that keep us from coming to appointments, and improves lives. I am happy to walk you through the ease of the client portal where you can schedule appointments, send your therapist a message, reschedule as needed, pay for services and manage important documents for therapy services. If you have any questions about virtual visit care, please reach out!
Q: I don’t live in California, can I still make an appointment with you?
At this time I am only licensed to see clients who currently live in California. As I am approved for licenses to practice in additional states, I will add my availability to the website, so be sure to check back!
